Beautiful and instagrammable place that you shouldn't miss in Phuket. It is located outside Phuket town so you will definitely need a transport to get there.

The cafe is located right inside the hotel (At Panta Phuket), which is not hard to find. At the entrance, you can purchase a photo service that they have drone to take photos for you in bird eye view perspective and that is so popular on instagram.

Once we entered, most tables are almost fully booked. As I checked with them, they don't take reservations and only allow walk-in. Every table will face the big lotus pond in front. You can feel free to take photos at anytime. There are a few corners to choose to take a shot and they are all nice. The bridge and the net are quite popular too.

Now let's talk about foodies. I love their menu, mostly are Thai menu. I had a craving for Pad Kra Pow but I forgot to tell them less spicy lol. Note that they gave a lot of chilli, if you don't take spicy, let them know early. The taste is very nice and with this view is just so perfect for summer vacay.

Food in Thailand is awesome. Affordable and tasty. Wewent to Krabi recently and would like to share with you where We went for food. We tried from expensive to local street food. For more info of the shop, please click on the shop name.

Lae Lay Grill
The restaurant is located on the hill where you can see the sea view, sunset, and nice mountain view at the same time. I give them 5/5 for their location. Service is good, food is good, just they give us an unexpectedly small portion with this price haha (3.5/5). We expect to get more actually. However, they give us free icecream after paying the bill.

Tip O Cha - Tom Yum Noodle
Local Thai Tom Yum Noodle. Moderately high level of spicy but nice and affordable. They have several side dishes to choose from. Crispy prawn is great, highly recommended. We also ordered fried tofu.
The shop is located in town area. The link attached is in Thai, you may want to use google translate.

Guu Roti
Small and tiny but unique shop which is located not very far from the tom yum noodle above. This is the place where you can find nice crispy roti with so many flavors and toppings to choose from. Free hot tea is a great option when you eat very sweet dessert.

Krua Thara (Ao Nang)
We stopped by Nopparat Thara Beach - a must visit beach if you like a peaceful with lesser shops and relax environment. This shop is located in beach area with walkable distance. Seafood is great and price is great as well. We dropped by at 5:30 which there are not many people yet. They served fast and service was good. Highly recommended.

Ko Choi - Thai Laksa and Crispy Chicken
Why this place has so little reviews on TripAdvisor!! It is a must visit. If you love spicy, this is the place for you. Thai Laksa here is superb. You can choose as a set or a la cart. You can select prefer soup (laksa) to eat with white noodle. Pick crispy fried chicken as your side dish with sticky rice. The place is generally crowded, full of local people. Price is very cheap. Worth a visit.

Sprucy Cafe
Great place for a break. We dropped by for a cake before heading to the night market. We ordered chocolate cake and toast. Service is good. Price range is not that cheap compare to local food/stall.

Vogue Roti
Another must visit. I think this is my third time already for this shop. I like this one a little bit more than Guu Roti to be honest. Not a lot of variety of flavour to choose from but the level of crispy is 5/5. Free tea. Very very close to the night market.

We spent time in Malacca during the New Year holidays. It took 2-3 hours drive from Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The traffic was alright because we started our trip around 9:30am :)

We reached Malacca around noon. Checked in the Ramada Plaza Malacca. Note that you need to pay tourist tax during the check in --we did not expect that. Our room is on the 26F where we can see the city and sea view. Nice and clean room once we entered.
Now it's eatting time. We walked over to the area where I later found out it is called Jonker Street. The cafe's name is the Calanthe Art Cafe. Their laksa is really nice. I highly recommend. It is not spicy and reminds me of Thai laksa taste. Typically, laksa in Singapore taste a little different from Thai laksa. Also, drinks are very refreshing on a hot day.
Exploring Jonker Walk. You have to keep looking for wall graffiti that you can spot them in some alley/corners of the building. The buildings here are very unique & charming, a nice mixture between local, chinese, and western. It is colorful and really vintage.
It was 5pm. We drove and park near the central area. While enjoying the unique brick colored buildings, I spotted steps walking up the hill. Not in our list, but interesting attraction to see the whole Malacca. St. Paul's Church is a very old and small but beautiful church on top of this hill. This historic building was built in 1521.

Evening time, we continued our walk to the landmark, Christ Church Malacca. Here there are a lot of tourists come to take photos. Buidings are all in brick color which makes the city looks even more beautiful. A lot of souvenirs are sold here and you can see many Malacca tuk-tuk. A small fountain in front of the church is Victoria Fountain of Malacca.

Just across the street, it's the Jonkor Street (again). Seems like most attractions are connected in the same area. We walked through till the end of the street. Unique style and colorful buildings are now captured in my photos.
We try to find the cafe called the Daily Fix which took use a while. It is (kinda hidden) inside the building in Jonker Street (google map is accurate). Not easily spotted. Once we were there, there were a lot of people queueing for tables. Cheese cake is great, my bf tries the dessert which I don't really know the name but it looks like cupcake with topping.
Finding dinner -- We looked for local food. We made several attempts to find out but it seems they are not local enough. We searched in Chinese and we found this noodle shop. It is nice. It sold out real fast, we went there at 9pm and just 10 minutes before it sold out. Feeling lucky :)
End with a special photo of the Malacca tuktuk at night time :)
