CAKE SPADE

This lovely cafe is located along Tanjong Pagar Rd. This road is full of Japanese and Korean restaurant as well. At night it will be more lively as most shops here open from 5pm till late night.

The Cake Spade is the pastel pink cafe among these Japanese and Korean restaurant. The attractive name is pretty close to the famous US brand (Kate Spade). Inside, it is decorated in pink tone. But since we go during December so they decorate some cute chrismas decoration.

The most impressive thing about this cafe is the cakes! They also have brownie, matcha chocolate lava, chocolate lava in heart shape which is super cute. I chose the red velvet cheese cake which cost around $7.9. Paid like $1 or so for the water. The cheese cake is very nice, we cannot wait to try other  cakes such as chocolate cakes look great as well.

Score 9.5/10 (space is a bit small during peak hour)

Happy Christmas Eve :)

We stay in this hotel for a night, before flying back to Singapore. The hotel is located in town area, with only 10 minutes walking distance to the night market. If you are early, there is a morning (wet) market just only 3 minutes walk, you can find Thai local food/desserts there I think but I am not the early person :P

The hotel is small but the room is spacious and clean, decorating in blue tone. We have a pleasant stay during our trip here. The price is not expensive with around 40+ SGD/night.

A day trip Johor Bahru ~ ~

This cafe is located a little further from the Check Point, so it is better to come by private vehicles or taxi. The cafe is decorated in neutral modern tone with comfy sofas in one corner. They have several choices for both food and desserts. We didn't know they serve food, so we already had lunch and come here for desserts only. They served the desserts in very cute plate, desserts are nice. Price is reasonable. Cafe hoppers gonna love this :)

Happy weekend :)

I went to Clarke Quay for lunch. Most shops were still closed during day time, but some are still opened. It will be very lively at night here. I love Singapore colonial shophouses, here they painted the shophouse buildings in so many lovely pastel colors.

I wear white shirt top from Uniqlo | midi skirt from taobao (I love this shop) | white lace strap heels from Charles & Keith (or similar here , here) | mini sling bag in Dolomia from Furla
