วันที่ 4 ที่เชียงใหม่
วันนี้กลับ กทม ตอนเย็น รถไฟออก 6 โมง กิจกรรมวันนี้เลยไม่เยอะเท่าวันก่อนๆ ไปไม่ไกลมาก highlight ของวันนี้ตั้งใจจะไป grand canyon ก็เลยไปเริ่มเติมพลังก่อนที่ ร้านกระต่ายแอดแวนเจอร์
ไปถึง 11 โมง ขับจากโรงแรมไป 30 นาที ร้านน่ารักดีค่ะ เป็นร้านที่เลือกได้ว่าจะนั่งริมลำธาร หรือฝั่งในตัวร้าน
Day 4 in Chiang Mai, today is slightly short as we need to take a train to Bangkok later at 6pm. We aim to go Grand Canyon, the human-made version in Chiang Mai. Before going, we have lunch at Rabbit Adventure Coffee, located near the Grand Canyon. We reach there around 11am. We choose to sit near the canal.

We order three dishes: garlic fried fish (my favourite), fried chicken, and tom yum. All this we pay 468 baht or around SGD19.
พอทานกลางวันเสร็จ ก็ขับต่อไป grand canyon เลยซึ่งอยู่ไม่ไกลกัน อ้อ วันนี้ใช้มอเตอร์ไซดนะคะ ตอนแรกไปถึงก็เจอประตูเข้า มีหลายประตูนะ เราก็นึกว่าเหมือนกัน ไม่เลย แล้วแต่คุณจะเลือกเข้าดู grand canyon บ่อไหนมากกว่า เหมือนจะมีอยู่ 3 บ่อใหญ่ๆ เราเลือกบ่อกลางค่ะ เพราะเราไม่รู้ว่ามันไม่เหมือนกัน555
We drive to the Grand Canyon, at the entrance there will be around 3 entrance that we see. We thought they are the same but no, each door enter to different pools. We randomly enter the middle one, pay for the entrance (sorry forgot the fee). If you like to swim and sun bath, this is the place for you.

หลังจากนั้นก็ขับกลับมาที่นิมมาน ก่อนเตรียมเช็คเอ้าท์ที่โรงแรม แวะที่ iBerry จัดไอติมไป 2 scoops กับ cream brûlée อันนี้ของโปรด
It is a hot day. We drive back to town, Nimman area again which is near by our hotel. We choose to go iBerry cafe, the famous one. Here, we have icecream and cream brulee and rest for a while.

เสร็จแล้วก็ไปโรงแรม check out คืนรถเป็นที่เรียบร้อย ไปสถานีรถไฟเชียงใหม่ ขากลับไปกทมเราจองชั้นหนึ่งได้สำเร็จ ไว้จะมารีวิวรถไฟกันนะคะ ปิดทริปไว้ตรงนี้
After that we decide to go for a massage, we go the shop named San Sabai Massage shop. It is not far and it offers good service with reasonable price. Only 250 baht per hour. Then we go back to the hotel to check-out and head to Chiang Mai train station to catch the train at 6pm. This time, we can book the first-class train, and it is impressive. I will review the new train very soon.

Day 3 in Chiang Mai, still driving the same car rent since yesterday. Today, we will drive up to Mon Cham, the road will be a little bit more difficult than Doi Suthep yesterday. As we wake up late today, we will start with brunch with Mon Muan restaurant...
Baan Mon Muan บ้านม่อนม่วน
ร้านสวย บรรยากาศดี อาหารอร่อย ติดแกงเขียวหวาน หวานไปนิด ราคาก็โอเคเลย ไม่ถูก และไม่แพงเกินไป ร้านวิวดีมาก ถ้าไปช่วง high season นี่จองก่อนก็ดี ทางเข้าไม่ใหญ่ แคบๆหน่อย ที่จอดรถไม่มาก
Baan Mon Muan is along the way before reaching Mon Cham. I just knew that it is a hotel too, but their restaurant is pretty famous and highly recommended. The food is nice and the scenary is beautiful. The restaurant is on top of the mountain so you can see the nice view. We order Thai dishes for this meal which are good overall. Except the green curry is a little too sweet. The price for this meal is 715 THB.
Mon Cham ม่อนแจ่ม
ใครขับเส้นนี้จะเจอร้านหรือโรงแรมที่ขึ้นต้นว่าม่อน .... ตลอดทาง ขับต่อจากบ้านม่อนม่วนมาสักพักก็ถึงม่อนแจ่ม ทางขึ้นชันๆหน่อย แคบ แต่ไปถึงก็มีที่จอดพอสมควร อากาศเย็นๆสบายๆ วิวสวยมาก มีไร่สตอเบอรรี่ข้างๆด้วย เข้าฟรีค่ะ ถ้าเก็บสตอเบอรรี่นี่ต้องเสียตังนะ เท่าไหร่ไม่แน่ใจเพราะไม่ได้เก็บ ไปถ่ายรูปเอาสวยๆพอ
Mon Cham is on top of the mountain. The road is quite narrow when you are getting near the place. Even it is a hot day, the wind is cooling. There are a few restaurants and a strawberry farm. It is free to walk around and take pictures. If you want to collect the strawberries, you need to pay which we decide not to do that.

อันนี้ตั้งใจมาทานมาก คือมาคารองที่ดาราเทวี ร้านสวย สบายๆ สั่งมาเยอะเลย ค่าเสียหายเอาการอยู่ มาคารองมีให้เลือกหลายรสชาติ หวานมากๆ ต้องนานๆ ทีล่ะค่ะ
As part of a hotel, the cake shop is pretty famous of its macarons. Besides macarons, they have cakes, buns, and drinks. The price here is not that cheap, we pay 1,120 THB.
Aong Thip Ros อ๋องทิพรส
ร้านนี้รู้มาจากเพื่อนอีกทีว่าอร่อยจริง มาลองจริงก็สมชื่อนะ ลูกชิ้นเด้งๆน้ำซุปอร่อย งานนี้เกลี้ยงจริงๆ ราคาสบายกระเป๋าด้วย ชามละ 35 บาท ไซด์ใหญ่ก็มีให้เลือกนะคะ
Since we spend so much on other meals, we choose simple dinner instead haha. Aong Thip Ros is a famous noodle shop in Chiang Mai town. The signature is small fish balls. I also love the soup and noodle and combination of all this is so perfect. Worth a try and it is cheap, only 35 THB for one. They have an option for bigger size too.
Random road side night markets ตลาดกลางคืน
ตลาดข้างทางที่ใหญ่พอสมควร อยู่นอกโปรแกรมค่ะ เลยไม่สามารถระบุพิกัดได้ เป็นตลาดกลางคืนขายอาหารโดยเฉพาะ มีร้านให้เลือกเยอะมาก เพราะก๋วยเตี๋ยวไม่อิ่มเลยต้องมาต่อโจ๊ก ขนมปังสังขยากับน้ำมะม่วงปั่น จัดเต็มจริงๆ
We don't know what is this market called. It is located not far away from the Aong Thip Ros. It is like a night market with so many food stalls, there are many locals and foreigners. We order kaya bread and porridge, and two mango blend.

On our second day in Chiang Mai, we rent a car to drive outside Chiang Mai town. It's time to drive up the mountain, feeling the cooling weather.Car rent
We rent from the local shop and they gave us a reasonable price for off-peak season. We got a Honday Jazz for 800THB per day. I found this shop online from a random google search. Follow this link to visit their North City Car Rental website. They can send & collect the car at your hotel with no additional cost.

Start with the brunch, we went to Khuakai Nimman at Nimman area. This area is full of famous cafe and restaurants. We went there around 11am. The shop was getting crowded around noon. We ordered one signature dish: Kway Teaw Khuakai (it's like dried version of horfan noodle with egg on top). It is a 'must try' dish and it was very nice (10/10). Other than that, we ordered satay and macaroni prawn.

I took tons of pictures at this park. For those who love nature and flowers, this is a place for you to spend hours with. There is a big area of park around the palace. At the entrace, it is 20 for locals and 50 for foreigners. It is strictly to wear polite outfit such as long sleeves and long pants/skirts. There will be free clothes provided if you wear shorts too.
ที่นี่สวยมาก ใครชอบถ่ายรูปธรรมชาติ ดอกไม้ วิวสวยๆนี่แนะนำเลยค่ะ ได้หลายมุม ข้อจำกัดคือต้องแต่งกายสุภาพ เสื้อมีแขน กางเกง กระโปรงคลุมเข่า ถ้าใส่มาแล้วก็มีให้เปลี่ยนฟรี ค่าเข้าคนละ 20 บาท วิวดี ดอกไม้สวย สถานที่กว้างขวาง อากาศร้อนแต่ก็มีลมเย็นๆ สบายๆ
3. Doi Suthep Temple / พระธาตุดอยสุเทพ
Doi Suthep is a must visit place for everybody. The temple is very famous and beautiful. We walked up the stairs to the temple. The entry is not free for foreigners, sorry that I forgot the exact fee. I think it was around 50THB.
ทางเดียวกันกับภูพิงเลย คือดอยสุเทพค่ะ ขับตอนขากลับพอดี คนเยอะมาก ทั้งไทยทั้งต่างชาติ ขึ้นบันไดไปเก๋ๆ พอเหนื่อย เข้าไปเห็นเจดีย์พระธาตุสีทองสวยมาก
4. Lucky Bunny Cafe
After visiting the temple, we head to the Lucky Bunny Cafe before dinner. The cafe closes earlier than its indicated timing at 6pm. We were there like 5pm and it was already the last group to play the rabbits. At this cafe, you can order your drinks or cakes first, then go up to watch rabbit show. You need to pay around 200THB to see the show and play the rabbits which I think it was kind of expensive. After the show, we got to play with rabbits from many breeds by feeding them and training them as well. There will be an instructor to take care of all the process.
คาเฟ่นี้หามาจากรีวิวไหนสักที่ คิดว่าอยากหาคาเฟ่แปลกใหม่ ที่ไม่ใช่หมาแมว ก็มาเจอกระต่ายนี่แหละ ร้านหายากนิดหน่อยค่ะ ขับมาตาม google map เป็นร้านเล็กๆ ชั้นล่างเป็นคาเฟ่ ชั้นบนเป็นกระต่าย ก่อนอื่นคือสั่งอาหารก่อนเลย หรือไม่สั่งก็ได้ แล้วขึ้นไปดูกระต่ายเลย ด้านบนก็จะเป็นโชว์ของกระต่าย โดยมีครูฝึกมาสอน หลังโชว์ก็จะได้กระต่ายไปคนละตัว ให้อาหารแล้วก็ลองฝึกกระต่ายให้มานั่งบนตัก อ้อ ดูโชว์กับเล่นกระต่ายนี่จ่ายคนละ 200 นะคะ เราว่าแพงนะเนี่ย แต่นานๆทีก็ลองดู
5. Tha Pae Walking Street / ตลาดท่าแพ
Tha Pae Walking Street is a Sunday night market in Chiang Mai. It covers a large area, along Tha Pae street. As usual, there will be local food, drawing, crafts, clothes, and Thai music performance too. We had dinner here and some local snacks. The market starts from evening like 6pm until late night.
ถึงเวลาอาหารเย็นก็มุ่งหน้าไป ตลาดนัดทันที อาหารอร่อย ถูก และดี เริ่มด้วยก๋วยเตี๋ยวเรือ ขนมเบื้อง และอีกมากมาย ทั้งเสื้อผ้าแฟชั่นหรือสไตล์เหนือๆ งานฝีมือ และนี่เป็นครั้งแรกที่เดินตลาดนัดท่าแพ คือตลาดใหญ่มาก ยอมรับว่าเดินไม่หมดอ่ะ ขาลากมากจริงๆ
6. Roof Top Bar - Maya Shopping Center
Before heading back to the hotel, we stopped over roof top bar for some drinks. There are many roof top bars in Chiang Mai but we chose Nimman Hill on top of Maya Shopping Mall as it is near to our hotel. Up on the roof, there are 3-4 bars to choose from. We had a beer and cocktail there. I had a cocktail but it wasn't that nice, alcohol was way too strong and cannot even feel any sweetness. However, the scenary and environment is very relaxing and chilling.
ไม่ยอมจบวันง่ายๆ มื้อดึกวันนี้ต่อที่ roof top bar ของห้างเมญ่า ชั้นบนสุดชื่อว่า Nimman Hill บนนี้จะมีบาร์ให้เลือกประมาน 3-4 ที่ ได้นั้งเห็นวิวเชียงใหม่ แบบชิวๆสบายๆ เสียงเพลงกำลังดี สั่งเบียร์กับ cocktail มา แต่ cocktail แรงไปหน่อยนะ แต่บรรยากาศดี
