If you like a nice scenary with a nice coffee, here is a great place for you. Coffee Break is a cafe up on the hill where a famous temple called Wat Khoa Phra Bat is located.

How to get there:
- Walk: yes, I saw people just leave their bikes and walk up the hill. There is a walk way to go up.
- Drive: we drive up, but it took us a while to find a parking lot. The area space is very limited and the road is so small (one-way drive).

The temple + cafe:
Temple is a place where people come to pray and make merit. I was there to pray as well. And just right at the front of the temple, you will see the cafe. Note that it is outdoor, if it rains heavily, you might need to leave.

The Coffee Break:
Several selections here: toasts (you can choose toppings - i chose chocolate and condensed milk+butter)
drinks (so many choices - i chose honey lemon and thai milk tea)

Price:
All i ordered, I paid lesser than 300 THB (below SGD15) for all + this view = worth it

It rained when we visited, so we had to leave earlier than expected. Will re-visit if we come to Pattaya again!

My BF and I went to Pattaya, Thailand for our vacation. For myself, my family has been to pattaya several times before for seafood and sometimes hired a speed boat to Koh Lan (the near by island). However, Pattaya has changed a lot recently giving me an excuse to visit there again.

This time in 2016, I went back again to cover the places I have been and never been before, mostly food and restaurants. However, I will list a few attractions I have visited as well.

The Sky Gallery

If you love sea view, sun set moment with great food, this place is a must. The place is mostly outdoor and this is where you can see a beautiful view of the sea. Peak hours will be in the evening as people come here to see the sunset. Due to the tight schedule, we only went there for lunch, however, it was still great.

Drinks...

Good thing to come here during day time (lunch hour) is that you can find many nice corners to take pictures because it is not crowded. Bad thing is the weather will be quite hot.

Location: A little lost, you can use google map (http://bit.ly/2gojIVO) but when you reach, you might spot the Chocolate Gallery first due to the big sign. Then it means you are in the right place, The Sky Gallery is just beside the Chocolate Factory.

Price: around 200-400 THB per dish (10-20sgd) + this scenery = worth it

Hello! I was on vacay mode last week, spending 2 weeks in Thailand going to Pattaya, Bangkok, and Huahin!  For the first part of the trip, we spent 3 days 2 night in Pattaya and here is the review of the hotel we stayed: @ Mind Premier Suite, Pattaya, Thailand

  fullsizerender-8

Well, I brought my laptop along for work as well ^^" The room is decorated in a warm tone that I prefer, there was a small note on bed to ask whether you want them to make the bed, if you choose not to, it helps to save world energy ...  Green hotel ~~

They have such a spacious area which i really like, there's a balcony beside the bed. The pricing for this hotel is very reasonable and affordable too as its not a beach hotel. ($44 per night via Agoda)

For the Kitchenette, I love it when I can re-heat meals from the night market that I couldn't finish in one day! They also have a laundry machine which I can wash my dirty clothes after a days outing! Basically they provide most of the stuff that you will need during the few days of stay.

There was a funny moment which happened as my BF could not find the hairdryer, it was being hidden in the closet inside a bag, just right above the locker. He had expected to see it in the toilet haha.

Downsides are

- (may be)location: I feel it was not easy to find as it is not located on the main road, you have to go into the Soi (small local road). We used Google Map to navigate to the place. However, this Soi has 7-11s at the front and the end of it, many local foods, and massages.

- Electricity was down early morning on one of the days! We waited for 20 minutes to have it back. Surprisingly, the same problem occurred when I stayed at At Mind Residence (another branch) on the last day, and that took 2 hours till we had to check out early. I don't know if this is coincident or not.

Ending this review with another picture at the small balcony...~~ Love portrait lens at night time when it helps to blur the back ground~~

We got the promo from the hotel website with 40-45% off during this low season (before Nov) with 117 sgd per night (include breakfast, tax)

Here is the king size bed...

We booked Adora Suite (Executive Wing)

The Thai style door in front of the room

 Ah... sweet

Note: since it is the green hotel surrounding by trees and flowers, you might have to encounter mosquito especially at night time. So, you have to keep the glass door shut at all time.

Overall, it is a clean hotel. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is great, you can have 10 mins walk to the beach. You also find food stall just outside the hotel very easy as well.

Third day in Krabi is a lazy day for us. We woke up late and go for lunch at Wong Sai Seafood. Maybe it is weekdays, there are not a lot of people here. The food is very nice. See what we have ordered...

Sea view table :)
 Tom Yum Kung
Well, I don't eat raw food, but my friends like it
 Fried prawn pancake
This one is also nice, fried fish with fish sauce

Suddenly can zoom the rain in some islands far away

After lunch time, I decide to go to Nopparatara Beach which is around 10 mins drive. It is another beautiful beach bedide Ao Nang Beach area. We take a walk and take some pictures.

It is very hot, my boyfriend got sun burn. We drive to Ao Nang area to find the massage shop. Well, he said it helps his sun burn when he chooses aloe vera massage with around 400 baht. For me, I take body scrub which is 600 baht, but I think I prefer body scrub in Batam, scrub is much nicer and can clean all the dirt!

Today we busy packing luggages and prepare flying back to Singapore tomorrow morning...
We will come to Krabi again soon because we can't get enough of authentic Thai food and Thai snacks :D

xx
