Review Pakasai Resort

We got the promo from the hotel website with 40-45% off during this low season (before Nov) with 117 sgd per night (include breakfast, tax)

Here is the king size bed...

In front of the hotel

 While waiting for the room

We booked Adora Suite (Executive Wing)

The Thai style door in front of the room

 Ah... sweet

Note: since it is the green hotel surrounding by trees and flowers, you might have to encounter mosquito especially at night time. So, you have to keep the glass door shut at all time.

Overall, it is a clean hotel. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is great, you can have 10 mins walk to the beach. You also find food stall just outside the hotel very easy as well.

Krabi Trip During Monsoon Season Day #3

Third day in Krabi is a lazy day for us. We woke up late and go for lunch at Wong Sai Seafood. Maybe it is weekdays, there are not a lot of people here. The food is very nice. See what we have ordered...

Sea view table :)
 Tom Yum Kung
Well, I don't eat raw food, but my friends like it
 Fried prawn pancake
This one is also nice, fried fish with fish sauce

Suddenly can zoom the rain in some islands far away

After lunch time, I decide to go to Nopparatara Beach which is around 10 mins drive. It is another beautiful beach bedide Ao Nang Beach area. We take a walk and take some pictures.

It is very hot, my boyfriend got sun burn. We drive to Ao Nang area to find the massage shop. Well, he said it helps his sun burn when he chooses aloe vera massage with around 400 baht. For me, I take body scrub which is 600 baht, but I think I prefer body scrub in Batam, scrub is much nicer and can clean all the dirt!

Today we busy packing luggages and prepare flying back to Singapore tomorrow morning...
We will come to Krabi again soon because we can't get enough of authentic Thai food and Thai snacks :D

Krabi Trip During Monsoon Season Day #2

Start the second day in Krabi! It is very sunny in the morning, opposes to what we have seen on forecast website. My friend used to say that the weather in the south of Thailand is unpredictable, just like Singapore. Well, I agreed with her. However, the forecast website said that it's gonna rain all day,  we shall see.

Me and my boyfriend decide to walk to the beach near our hotel which is Ao Nang beach area. The beach is just around 500 meters away from our hotel. On the way to the beach, we see some shops still open, including the some of street foods we had last night!

I am more than ready to the beach!

with Song Teaw (the small red car)

Before I forgot to write about it :
Transportation: options to get around
- You can rent a car like us, it is very cheap because there are 4 of us. It is 666 baht per day with Sixt (http://www.sixtthailand.com). Or if anyone found the better and cheaper, please let me know haha
- You can rent a bike. I saw a lot of foreigners do that, it is like 200 baht per day. And of course, it is easier to get around Ao Nang and nearby area. We did not choose this option because we don't like to ride the bike when it's raining (which you cannot guess when!)
- You can get on Song Teaw, I cannot remember the price but it is normally cheap. You can tell the driver where you want to go. (Ask for the price before you take it to prevent overpriced deal)

And we reached the beach :)

A LOT of shells

If you prefer the soft and white sand, you can go for the island tour. It is super easy to find the tour. I never book with the hotel, it is expensive. There are a lot of tours advertised along the street walk. You can choose where you want to go, and prices are varies depends on types of boats and duration of the tour.

For the lunch time, we plan to go to the boat noodle, but the shop is closed because we forgot it is Sunday. So we google for the second option, we found the shop name "Ton Ma Yom" not bad from Trip Adviser. (Actually, I want to find the famous & local thai shop but it is in Krabi Town which we have limited time now). However, I found Ton Ma Yom is nice and cozy as the review said. Oh I miss the slow pace life in Krabi....

 Waiting for food

 Tom Yum Kung
 Chicken with black pepper
Crispy Fried Shrimps

In the evening, we drive to Krabi Town around 5pm. It is too early for the night market. So, we just walk around the area and found this temple. I was like it is so beautiful, located on the top of the hill.
Now sky is getting dark and it is drizzling.

We did not get to take much photos for the night market because it is raining heavily as the forecast mentioned. But most of the shops are still selling their foods and we bought some. Before we going back, we try the famous (local) roti near Vogue Shopping Mall. There are crispy type and soft type. We choose both and it is super super nice!

 they will serve you tea
 soft roti
crispy roti

We continue our shopping tonight at Big C instead to buy cheap Thai snacks. You have to drive a bit far from Krabi town to Big C mall. We bought a lot here to bring back to Singapore because snacks in Singapore are not varied as Thai snacks.

It is a cold day, so I just on the warm water in the outdoor bath tub, it is still drizzling outside.

Tomorrow we will go the the famous Thai restaurant in Ao Nang are. :)

Krabi Trip During Monsoon Season Day #1 (night out)

I read both Thai and non-Thai reviews about Aonang area that the food is a bit pricey compared to food in Krabi Town. However, the food taste still nice and worth a try. The street food is located very near our hotel (Pakasai Resort), we just take no more than 5 mins walk and you can see street food/stalls along the road.

We did not try the burger but it looks nice

This is what we try, in Thai we called it "Roti" but my boyfriend calls this "Pancake" - -"
They sell this in many flavors you can choose from the board. This one I choose is banana - Nutella. #yummy

You can see that there are not a lot of people during this low season. This is how it looks.

Day #2 we plan to go to Krabi Town to find the nice local food that I have listed down from Pantip web board.
